Illyana Rasputina, known as Magik, is a mutant character in the Marvel Universe. She first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975) as Illyana Rasputina, but her transformation into Magik occurred later.
The "Marvel NOW!" Magik is particularly known for her powerful magical abilities derived from Limbo, a demonic dimension where time moves differently. She is the younger sister of the X-Man Colossus.
As Magik, she wields the Soulsword, a weapon forged from her own soul. She also has the ability to teleport via stepping discs, allowing her and others to travel vast distances. While a member of the X-Men, she grapples with the influence of Limbo and its corrupting power.
